Background

Ahead Health has raised $6 million in seed funding to grow its preventive healthcare platform across Europe. The round was led by venture capital firm RTP Global, with participation from Tiny.VC and Pareto 20. Several entrepreneurs also joined as individual investors, including leaders from technology, health and sports.

The Zurich-based company offers preventive healthcare services using an artificial intelligence platform that works with partner clinics in Switzerland and Germany. Ahead Health links tests such as MRI scans, blood work, and CT scans with software that translates health data into personalised insights and care plans.

The company said its full-body MRI scan and blood tests take around 30 minutes, after which customers receive a digital health report and tailored plan. It said this approach helps people identify health risks before symptoms appear, a gap that still exists in many traditional healthcare systems.

Ahead Health plans to use the fresh capital to expand into new European markets, starting with Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. It will also improve its platform, add new testing methods and grow its engineering team.

Founded in 2024, Ahead Health was created by former Google executives, medical doctors and health technology experts. The leadership team includes CEO and Co-Founder Nick Lenten and CTO and Co-Founder Vinsensius Vega.

The company said its service has already delivered strong early results. It reported that 25% of customers uncovered medical issues they were not aware of before using the platform.

RTP Global said it invested in the startup because preventive healthcare is becoming a key area for AI adoption. The firm said Ahead Health combines strong technical talent with healthcare knowledge and early customer traction.

Ahead Health said it aims to widen access to preventive health checks and build a strong network of partner clinics across Europe as more people look to manage their health proactively rather than react to illness.
